Meditative Breathing

Meditative Breathing is a tool that can be used to help calm your "nerves" wherever you are. It has been called 'Box Breathing' and 'Four Corners Breathing' but the premise remains the same. It'll serve as a portable coping skill that promotes self-regulation, emotional awareness, and a greater sense of control during difficult moments or when feeling overwhelmed. It is particularly helpful for managing anxiety, stress, while supporting overall mental wellness as a positive coping skill.

Simple Box Breathing Instructions
Inhale through your nose for 4 counts.
Hold your breath for 4 counts.
Exhale slowly through your mouth for 4 counts.
Hold for 4 counts.
Repeat for 4–6 cycles.
